Addiction, Recovery and Redemption Blogs
One cannot live in a broken world without eventually being marred by brokenness on a personal level. All of us to a greater or lesser degree carry around emotional scars in varying stages of healing. We are the sum total of all our experiences.
At Healing Our Brokenness Ministries we are passionate about helping wounded individuals move toward inner healing. Grace Gayle tells her own story with transparency in her book, From Victim to Victor.
I am just a man seeking God while trying to raise two Godly children. After heading God’s voice I started two pages on Facebook to hopefully help others not make the same mistakes I did in life; Spiritual Leaders of the Family and Resurrecting The Redeemed From Porn Addiction. I have made many mistakes in my life, as have we all, but I praise God daily for His love, grace and forgiveness.
My goal in life is to bring hope, healing, and inspiration to survivors, thrivers, and healers who are on the front lines every day, overcoming obstacles, facing down adversity, and boldly striving toward that bright light of dawn where peace and freedom become the norm rather than the exception.
I grew up in Hawthorne, Nevada, went to the School of Social Work at University of Nevada Reno, completed my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at University of Phoenix, Northern Nevada Campus, was certified as a Guided Imagery Therapist at Synergy Seminars in Palm Springs, California, and completed numerous Master’s level classes in Creative Writing Non-fiction at Southern New Hampshire University’s Online Program.
I have two delightful children and six spoiled and rambunctious grandchildren. I have lived in several states and also for a couple of years in Germany. I now make my home in the San Francisco Bay Area. My favorite activities include walking, hiking, cooking simple but delicious meals, reading, and watching movies.
