Faith: Sustenance for every Christian

faithFaith is what the Christian life is all about. Faith is a vital part of the Christian’s spiritual diet. Romans 1:17, Galatians 3:11, Hebrews 10:38, Habakkuk 2:4, all say that the righteous shall live by faith.

Just as the nourishment for our physical bodies is attained by ingesting nutritious food, faith is an essential part of our spiritual diets. It’s interesting to note that of all the things that the Christian is implored to do in the bible, there is no other single thing which, if not adhered to, makes it impossible to please God.

Think about that for a moment. We can give of our substance. We can preach Jesus to the lost. We can visit the incarcerated. We can care for the widows. We can feed the hungry but if we operate without faith, our lives are unpleasing to God (Hebrews 11:6).

With that being the case, it seems that the topic of faith should be very high on our topics of discussion.

Faith is our calling

The FaithsMessenger blog has two callings or assignments, if you would. One is to share biblical principles through analogies, situations and circumstances that pertain to everyday life that the average person can relate to.

The second is to share how the principles of faith in God and in His Word can be applied to life immediately by the new Christian.

We all use the principles of faith every day. We’ve become very proficient at using faith. The blog posts at FaithsMessenger.Com simply alert us to the principles of faith which are already in use in our everyday lives and teaches us how to refocus them on the things of God.

I want to thank you for stopping by and I encourage you to join our mailing list to receive email notifications when new blog messages are posted to our blog.
