As we travel this road of life, we realize that it will not be a smooth ride.
This life comes with many potholes and detours.
Along the way, we will look forward to rest areas, where friends will be waiting to encourage us to press on.
We will face dark times…times of heartache.
It is in these times, that we are refined, shaped
& strengthened to be used as His woman of faith.
Our dark experiences can be used to help
others along the rough road – as a sister in Christ.
My desire and prayer is to see women find the spiritual freedom that Christ shed His precious blood for (Galatians 5:1). Some key areas of my ministry are:
Finding freedom in Christ.
Dealing with past wounds.
Dealing with childhood wounds.
Understanding the work of the Cross.
Healing of the heart through the Holy Spirit.
I also enjoy speaking on topics such as:
parenting/discipling our children
marriage – reflecting the gospel in marriage
the Word of God
whatever the Holy Spirit prompts me to talk about

We want you to enjoy every moment on our site, that’s why it is safe, and fun!
Our site is a Christian website-operated by a Christian. We believe that Jesus died, and rose again!
Our site will always be focused on sharing the hope that Jesus gave us, and also encouraging girls in their walk with God-not hindering it.
“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” -Mathew 19:14
Our mission Bible verse:
1 Corinthians 10:31 ESV (OpenBible.org)
“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”
Our website has completely transformed from when it was first launched in March of 2011, from being this unknown site to having girls from literally around the world it has just taken flight-thanks to the power of God! Our goal is to have this website as a place for girls to be completely safe, and have loads of fun! We hope you hope can feel the presence of our Saviour on our site, and also you can enjoy it!
One of my favorite ‘minor’ characters in the New Testament has always been Barnabas, the encourager.

Then I decided that rather than write about encouragement (at least for now) I wanted to be a Barnabas. I occasionally blog on Biblical women’s issues, and I love to write what I’ve learned from my mentors, namely Elisabeth Elliot. Since the book has come out, I do more speaking live, and less blogging, but to try to get to all mail and keep up with correspondence. I host a Christian Blog linkup every Wednesday to promote other bloggers.
Kaylene is just a girl with a sword, a shield and a strong cup of coffee. She finds her first ministry to be in her home living out her calling of wife and mother. In her spare time she writes to encourage women to thrive well in their current roles. Be it through sweet encouragement or an occasional dose of humor or spunkiness, her goal remains the same… to point women to the Lord.
My goal is to help others increase their faith in God (fully accepting His grace through Jesus) and demonstrate that true faith in their lives through their lifestyle choices, actions, and speech.
