Life can be very addictive. One of the many blessings God has given me in my life is the ability to work from home. I enjoy being able to schedule my day around the things that are most important to me.
But having the responsibility of making my own schedule while managing a workload that never ends, means that I could literally work around the clock if I chose to. Faith is taking a stance on something without wavering…indefinitely. Faith is unyielding. Faith is unstoppable. Faith is unrelenting. Faith moves mountains. Faith conquers. Faith overcomes all obstacles. Faith digs it’s heals in and will not be moved. Faith is like concrete, the longer it stands the stronger it gets. Faith makes no sense.
I heard a quote which says, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results”. I absolutely disagree with that statement. In my opinion insanity is doing the same thing over and over then quitting before you see results. Read the rest of this entry »
The Christian Life is a life that is set apart for service to the Lord. In a world where lying, cheating and stealing is the norm, living the Christian life can be challenging. It’s unfortunate, but doing the right thing can cause you to stick out like a sore thumb. We’re like Salmon swimming upstream against all that the world sees as “normal”. So what do you do when all eyes are on you because you’re living the Christian life instead of doing the things they call natural? REJOICE! Letting your light shine was just made easier! Your relationship with God is a personal one. The ability to pray in confidence is the result of having an intimate relationship with God. Keeping your eyes on Jesus during any challenge produces victory. Victory in life is a mindset. Having a mindset to run your race with endurance and determination to finish seals victory for the Christian.
